CONNECT WITH US TODAY

If you would like to participate in the study or have any questions, please contact Dr. Kristine Newman at kristine.newman[at]ryerson.ca or through the form provided on the right. Alternative contact information is also provided below. All information will be kept confidential and will not be shared outside the research team.

Before being recruited as a participant, you will be asked to answer screening questions on behalf of your family. Once you have contacted Dr. Newman, a Research Assistant will conduct the screening through a phone call with potential candidates to help us ensure that we are capturing a diverse range of caregivers and experiences in our study. The screening call will take about 5-10 minutes.

Should your family be selected to be one of the 30 families we ask to participate in our study over the next 3 years, you will be sent consent forms and then socio-demographic questionnaires for each of your family members to review and complete. Once both forms are received by the research team, you will be referred to an interviewer with experience as a young caregiver or adult caregiver. Further details will be provided in the consent forms.

Thank you for your message and interest in our study!

We will get back to you as soon as possible.
